The Iskra Class
We teach you different ways to screen print on paper.
We will not be printing T-shirts or textiles but we encourage you to experiment with different materials.
14-week program.
3-hours a week.
+ Homework.
Classes are every other Wednesday from 6-9pm. Attendance is mandatory. Be ready to commit an additional 5hrs—10hrs a week for homework & show preparation.

& Sell Your Artwork!
The Iskra Class culminates in a final group show in KBH Gallery. We host a grand opening, for your friends, family & the community to come see your hard work! The show stays up for 30-days with the option to sell your work.
What You’ll Learn
Care & Prep
We focus on good habits, preparation and cleaning. There are a lot of steps to getting your artwork on a piece of paper. We’ll guide you and show you best practices so you can tackle any idea and manage your time in the studio.
Techniques
Our class covers analog techniques that will help you nail the fundamentals and expose you to new ways to approach your art.
Materials
Iskra will supply the following during the course of the workshop: 18” Squeegee, spray bottles, aprons, ink, emulsion, screen chemicals, 25” x 40” screen, & paper for homework assignments.
Class members will be responsible for purchasing their own frames for the end of class show.
Enrollment Lottery
Due to the demand of the class, seat availability (16), and volume of applicants, Students are selected at random.To enter the Enrollment Lottery you MUST email a complete application to hello@iskraprint.com with your contact information, a short paragraph on what you're hoping to learn from the class, and a link to your artwork (Website/Instagram) OR complete the form below.
All applications are reviewed, however this does not guarantee you a spot.
Fall 2026
We will not be holding a Fall 2026 class, instead focusing this coming semester on our membership and renewing our space. We invite you to apply for Spring 2027.
Fees & Payment
The class costs $550 & covers the following: 18” Squeegee, spray bottles, aprons, ink, emulsion, screen chemicals, use of a 25” x 40” screen, & paper for homework assignments.
Payment is due the first day of class.
Debit/Credit will be accepted.
Additional costs: Class members will be responsible for purchasing their own frames for the end of class show. The quality of the frames are up to the artists but they are required to hang work. The class also takes turns purchasing pizza for the class.
Refund Policy: If you find that you are unable to commit to the class after the first session we can issue an 80% refund. We do not offer refunds beyond that.
Homework & Show Prep
The Iskra class requires you dedicate time in between classes to complete mandatory homework assignments and prepare for the class show. Please expect to spend more than the 3 hour class period in the studio, per week.

Spring 2027
First day of class is Wednesday, January 20th, 2027
Six-week instructional class + eight weeks of studio time.
Group show in KBH Gallery in May 2027.
Classes will meet for three hours every other Wednesday from 6-9pm.
Attendance is mandatory and you will be expected to complete all homework assignments.
$550 covers the spectrum of necessary screen-printing supplies & studio time
